Journalist Reuben Abati dares former SGF, Babachir Lawal, after he told a TVC presenter to “shut up” during a live interview

Abati and his colleagues at Arise TV were reacting to Lawal’s behavior, which they deemed unacceptable.

Abati dared Lawal to come on Arise TV and repeat his actions, warning that he would face severe consequences.

“Let Babachir Lawal come here and try it… the kind of flogging that he will receive… he won’t be able to sleep that night,” Abati said, implying that Lawal’s behavior would not be tolerated on their platform.
