On Sunday, the residence of Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid al-Dbeibah was attacked with rocket-propelled grenades, causing no casualties but some damage, as reported by a Libyan minister to Reuters.
The attack, which occurred in Tripoli’s upscale Hay Andalus neighbourhood near the sea, was confirmed by witnesses who heard significant explosions.
Following the explosions, heavy security forces swiftly deployed around the area to secure the vicinity.
