Rapper M.I Abaga has revealed his new name ”The Guy” while announcing the release of his new single with the same title.
The music artiste born Jude Lemfani Abaga announced this in an Instagram post on Friday.
“We’re lit. It’s out. Run it up! Link in bio! #TheGuy #TheGuyAlbum,” he announced.
The rapper left his fans speechless on July 7 after he announced he would be changing his stage name.
He wrote: “After over 15yrs as minister incredible, I will be retiring the name “MI Abaga” and taking on a new name for my new project bcuz, my new album hard af and it deserves a new name”.
In another post, M.I wrote: “My final act as MI will be a performance at The Vibe on the 10th of July where I will celebrate my legacy as Africa’s greatest rapper.”
