As the investigation into Mohbad’s d3ath continues, controversial activist VeryDarkMan has made fresh claims, accusing several celebrities and public figures of manipulating the narrative around the late singer’s demise
In a post shared online, VDM alleged that 14 days after Mohbad died, a private group was created with Iyabo Ojo as the admin.
He listed several members of the group, including Dre (Davido’s PRO), Tonto Dikeh, K-Solo, Samklef, Aloma, Barrister Olamide, a representative of Bella Shmurda known as Pumping, Iyabo Ojo’s lawyer, and actor Jigan, whom he described as “very evil.”
He claimed the group was responsible for pushing coordinated narratives online, orchestrating his arrest, and leaking his n3de photos as blackmail.
“Just like every other Nigerian, I initially believed Naira Marley was responsible, especially after seeing Wunmi’s post,” he said. “But when I read in the news that he wasn’t even in the country, I started asking real questions.”
VDM also stated that he once suggested a DNA test to determine whether Mohbad’s wife had an affair, suggesting this might have been a motive for his d3ath. According to him, that was when the attacks intensified.
“They sent my n3de photos to Gistlover to blackmail me. Two people in that group know exactly what k!lled Mohbad, while the rest were brainwashed,” he added, promising to share more evidence soon.
VDM’s claims have sparked renewed debate, though none of the individuals mentioned have responded publicly to his accusations.
