A mom’s face was chopped off by a friend’s sausage dog in a brutal attack, leaving her with lifelong scars.
Kelly Allen, 45, was hanging out at a friend’s place when the usually friendly dog suddenly turned aggressive. It clamped onto her face, tearing off a chunk of her cheek and gobbling it up.
Kelly needed over five hours of surgery and over 40 stitches to fix the damage. The dog was taken away by the police and put down later.
Kelly is devastated by the attack, saying it has ruined her life. She’s struggling with nightmares and can’t go out without her sons. The attack left her unable to work and struggling to pay her bills, as she only gets £350 a month in sick pay.
Her sister has started a fundraiser to help cover her expenses. Kelly is still recovering from the trauma, both physically and emotionally.
