Odumodublvck has shared his unconventional views on success, revealing that money and fame don’t drive him
In an interview with HIP TV, he emphasized the importance of authenticity and simplicity over the pursuit of wealth and fame.
Odumodublvck explained that his primary focus is on creating meaningful content that impacts people, rather than seeking fame or fortune.
He drew a distinction between promoting oneself to share one’s work and the superficial concept of fame often associated with celebrity culture.
For Odumodublvck, success is not about accumulating wealth or seeking external validation. Instead, he values the freedom to create and share his music, making a positive impact on his audience.
He said:
“I have never tried to be famous. The way people say they want fame, like the way people say they are looking for money—people want fame. I have never wanted fame. I have never thought about it.
“When I started my music career, I never thought of being famous. I only thought about doing nice stuff and impacting people with it.
“Promoting myself equates to being famous, but that kind of fame is different from the TV’s ‘rich and famous.’ I have never bought into that context.”
“I want to promote myself so that people can hear me and make money, but there are some people who if you give them money and fame, they should rather not have anything in their bank account, they like to be hailed. That’s what they like, you get me?
There is nothing wrong with that, especially if it makes people happy; the fame and the money. But I’m not really about the money like that.”
