Veekee James has set a boundary in her marriage, stating that her husband, Femi Atere, can’t have a female best friend
Veekee said this during an appearance on the Off the Top podcast, emphasizing that while some men can have close female friends, it’s not allowed in her marriage.
Veekee explained that her relationship operates differently, and she’s comfortable being her husband’s closest female confidant.
She stressed that every marriage has unique boundaries, and couples should decide what works best for them.
This isn’t the first time Veekee has sparked conversation with her views.
She said: “Femi Atere can never have a female best friend, even if he does I’ll occupy it with all of herself and her body alone.”
She’s also spoken about facing criticism and false allegations about “snatching” her husband from a friend, which nearly led to depression.
She’s urged women to support their husbands and prioritize their relationships.
