The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has petitioned the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Inspector-General of Police, calling for a full investigation and possible prosecution of veteran Fuji star, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, over an incident aboard a domestic ValueJet flight

The incident, which occurred on Tuesday during ValueJet flight VK201, allegedly disrupted standard operational procedures and breached aviation safety protocols. Preliminary findings indicate that K1 De Ultimate’s actions may have contravened the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations.
In a statement signed on Thursday, the NCAA said it has urged the AGF and IGP to “launch a thorough investigation into the incident” and initiate “appropriate prosecution in accordance with the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations 2023 and all other applicable laws.”
To reinforce compliance, the Director General of Civil Aviation, Capt. Chris Najomo, has also issued an advisory to the Airline Operators of Nigeria, recommending that K1 De Ultimate be placed on a No-Fly List for all commercial flights pending the outcome of the investigation.
The agency noted that the move aligns with global aviation best practices aimed at safeguarding passengers, crew, and aircraft operations.
“The NCAA reiterates that no individual, regardless of their public status, will be allowed to undermine the integrity of the aviation industry. Aviation safety and discipline are non-negotiable, and acts capable of endangering lives or compromising flight operations will not be tolerated,” the statement added.
