Newcastle United continued their impressive unbeaten run in the Premier League with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur at St James’ Park

The Magpies capitalized on Tottenham’s missed opportunities, with Alexander Isak’s decisive strike securing the win.
Newcastle took the lead in the first half through Harvey Barnes’ expert volley, following a strong run and delivery from Lloyd Kelly.
Despite Tottenham’s pressure, they struggled to create clear-cut chances, with their best opportunity coming from Pape Matar Sarr’s long-range effort saved by Nick Pope.
In the second half, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou made attacking changes, introducing Brennan Johnson. However, it was Newcastle who ultimately sealed the win, despite Dan Burn’s own-goal equalizing for Spurs. Isak’s strike proved to be the winner, maintaining Newcastle’s unbeaten start to the season.
