A new video featuring Nigerian music stars Tems and Davido has generated mixed reactions online.
The two artists linked up in Atlanta, Georgia, where Tems was performing on August 30th, 2024, as part of her “Born in the Wild” tour. Davido attended the show to support her, just days after he, along with Zlatan and Rahman Jago, attended Asake’s concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
During her sold-out performance, Tems treated fans to several new tracks from her album, including “Burning,” “Love Me Jeje,” “Wickedest,” and “Mr Rebel.” She also performed her hit song “Essence,” featuring Wizkid.
The moment that sparked a lot of online chatter was when Tems and singer Davido met backstage after her performance.
Since Tems entered the Nigerian music scene in 2019 with her hit “Try Me,” she has been closely associated with Wizkid, and not much has been said about her relationship with Davido.
As of now, Tems and Davido are not following each other on Instagram.
In a backstage clip from Atlanta, they were seen next to each other, and many people think they looked a bit uncomfortable from their body language.
