Nicole Kidman, 57, has sparked backlash after denying the authenticity of her iconic 2001 divorce celebration photo.
The image, showing Kidman jubilantly raising her arms outside her attorney’s office after finalizing her split from Tom Cruise, has been widely regarded as a moment of liberation.

In an interview with British GQ, Kidman claimed, “That was not me. That was from a film… That wasn’t real life,” without naming the supposed movie.
Fans, however, are skeptical.
Social media users have attempted to trace the mystery film scene, but their efforts have turned up nothing.
One fan quipped, “Nicole Kidman straight up lying about that picture post-divorce gets funnier every time.”
Another wrote, “No one can find the movie, so I’m confident it’s really a post-divorce paparazzi shot.”
Kidman’s claim has reignited interest in the viral meme, as fans remain unconvinced by her explanation.
