Pamela Hayden, the voice behind the beloved character Milhouse Van Houten, is stepping down from ‘The Simpsons’ after an impressive 35-year run.
The 70-year-old actress also voiced several other characters, including Jimbo Jones and Sarah Wiggum.
In a heartfelt statement, Hayden shared, “The time has come for me to hang up my microphone… It’s been an honor and a joy to work on such a groundbreaking show.”
She expressed gratitude to fans and colleagues, saying, “Thanks for 35 years!” and promised to always hold a special place for Milhouse, the blue-haired boy with glasses.
Hayden’s departure marks the end of an era for the long-running Fox series.
