The Super Eagles of Nigeria were crowned Unity Cup champions after cruising to a commanding 3-0 victory over Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz in the final, securing the trophy for a record fourth time
Nigeria stamped their authority on the contest from the outset, dictating the tempo and creating the better chances with an impressive attacking performance backed by a solid midfield and organised defence.
The breakthrough came in the opening half following a slick team move that put the Eagles ahead. The Nigerian side continued to dominate after the interval and doubled their lead soon after the restart, leaving Jamaica with an uphill task.
