The husband of Mrs. Rachael Alamu, the school principal that was att@cked by bandits in Oyo State, has appealed directly to Governor Seyi Makinde, asking for stronger and faster action to secure the release of his wife and others who were k!dnapp£d in the Oriire Local Government Area.
Mrs. Alamu, who leads Community High School in Esinele/Ahoro-Esinle, was among several people abducted when armed men reportedly stormed schools in the Ogbomoso axis earlier in the month. The attack left school staff and students in the hands of the assailants and has continued to worry residents across the state.
Speaking in distress, Professor Alamu expressed deep concern over the situation and called for renewed urgency from authorities.
“I am the husband of the principal, Mrs. Alamu, of Oriire Community High School in Oyo State that was kdnap+ped a few days ago. The band!ts have been circulating her videos on social media. I know Governor Seyi Makinde has been working for them to be rescved, but I am on my knees b3gging again that he should int£nsify more eff0rt. Please, I want my wife and other vict!ms to be rescved quickly and al!ve,” he said.
Governor Makinde has visited affected community and met with families of the abducted victims, assuring them that security agencies are actively working toward their safe return.
