The Nigeria Oscars Selection Committee (NOSC) has announced the addition of five new members to its team, bringing diverse creative expertise to the selection process
The new members are:
– Ali Nuhu, Managing Director of the Nigerian Film Corporation
– Blessing Egbe, film producer
– Victor Akande, journalist and film critic
– Kene Okwuosa, Group Chief Executive Officer of Filmhouse Cinemas
– Ijeoma Agu, actress
These individuals will join returning members, including Stephanie Linus, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, and others, to form a comprehensive team.
The committee aims to select the best Nigerian film for the 97th Academy Awards, scheduled for March 2nd, 2025.
The expanded membership is expected to enhance the selection process, bringing a range of perspectives and expertise to the table.
