Nigerian online critic Vincent Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has exposed actress Tonto Dikeh on social media after she had an altercation with a car dealer in Abuja.
VDM posted a video on Instagram showing Tonto wrecking the dealer’s office, even though she owes him N2 million for a car she bought a year ago.
VDM explained the incident: “Tonto wanted a Mikano car, but the dealer didn’t have one. He told her to get it from the manufacturer, but the car cost N90 million, and they wouldn’t allow installment payments. The dealer offered to buy the car for her and let her pay him back in installments. Thanks to his connections, he got the car for N86 million instead of N90 million.
“The dealer paid for the car in full and gave it to Tonto, who then started paying him back in installments. She initially paid N30 million but delayed the next payment for seven months. Eventually, she paid another N20 million, leaving a balance of N36 million.
VDM said Tonto continued to pay in small amounts until she owed only N2 million. They had been trying to get her to pay the remaining amount since last year. Tonto eventually called to have the car serviced, which the dealer agreed to, reminding her to pay the remaining balance.
According to VDM, this prompted Tonto to storm the dealer’s office and destroy his belongings. When the dealer arrived, he reminded her he could take the car back since it was still in his name. This angered Tonto, who slapped him and damaged his office, including his TV and coffee maker.
VDM commented: “This same person dey talk about bullying for Mohbad, I told you that you don’t know all these people, this is how she goes around, they abuse power, this is clear abuse of power because you are now close to some politicians, you just want to take it out on people, it’s not fair. Nigerians if this was somebody else, if na man do this thing to woman, nobody for hear word.”
He also added: “This same person wan enter power. She never get political power now, see what she is doing. Imagine if somebody like Tonto Dikeh gets political power in Nigeria, just imagine the terror, imagine what common people will face, we don finish be dat. The sad part is that she can get away with it, imagine say na man beat or harass her like that on top his own money?”
