Ossai Ovie Success, a media aide to the Governor of Delta State, has publicly criticized Nollywood actress Ini Edo for attending a birthday party in Ghana just a day after her father’s funeral
The actress had laid her father, Elder Edo Jonathan Ekim, to rest in Akwa Ibom on Friday, with notable Nollywood figures like Rita Dominic, Ruth Kadiri, Nancy Isime, and Desmond Elliot in attendance.
However, videos surfaced online showing Ini Edo at a lavish birthday celebration in Accra, Ghana, less than 24 hours later.
Expressing disappointment on Facebook, Ossai described her actions as insensitive and disrespectful. He argued that mourning is not solely about finances but about showing respect and spending time with family during the grieving period.

I understand life goes on and she probably mourned him already as he died 2 to 3 weeks ago but burying a father is not like burying just any relation.
