Veteran comic actor Abiodun Ayoyinka has officially stepped into a new phase of his career, announcing a fresh identity after years of being known as Papa Ajasco
In a video posted online, he revealed his new name as Bondu Alaska, signaling a clear departure from the iconic character that brought him fame in the popular series.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, good morning Nigerians. My name is Bondu Alaska. The one and only Bondu Alaska.”
He also used the moment to appreciate Nigerians for their overwhelming support, especially after his recent interview gained widespread attention.
“I want to use this medium to thank Nigerians because they have done a lot in my life. I’m a new person now, and I promise that I will not let you down.”
The actor has since updated his social media presence to reflect the new identity, urging fans and business partners to connect with him as Bondu Alaska going forward.
This rebranding comes shortly after his public fallout with Wale Adenuga, the founder of Wale Adenuga Productions, over issues surrounding the continued use of the Papa Ajasco name and likeness.
