Social media personality Peller has opened up about his expensive trip to the Maldives with Jarvis, revealing that the vacation cost him around ₦30 million and required significant financial preparation.
According to him, the destination is not for people without solid income or backup plans, as the cost of living and travel experience can quickly become overwhelming.
He explained that beyond the travel expenses, he also had to meet strict entry requirements.
“Maldives isn’t for civil servants. If you come here, you’ll go broke. I have already recovered the money I spent to come here. If you want to come to a place like this, you have to have a backup plan and have people by your side.”
Peller also revealed the shocking amount of liquidity he had to show before being allowed into the country.
“I spent ₦30 million on my trip to the Maldives, and still had to show $10,000 cash just to enter the country.”
His comments sparked conversation online about luxury travel costs and the financial demands of visiting high-end tourist destinations like the Maldives.
