Pep Guardiola has been named Premier League Manager of the Month after guiding Manchester City through an impressive run of results in April
The award comes after City secured three league victories during the month, a spell that briefly took them to the top of the Premier League table before their recent setback.
Among those wins was a dominant performance away at Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, a crucial victory over title rivals Arsenal, and a narrow but important win against Burnley.
Those results helped strengthen City’s position in the title race and highlighted their strong form across the month.
However, the momentum was slightly halted on Monday night when they were held to a 3-3 draw by Everton, a result that swung the Premier League standings back in Arsenal’s favour.
