A barber in Umuahia, Abia State, has been arrested after police reportedly discovered a clay pot filled with shaved human hair inside his one-room apartment.
The suspect, identified simply as Emeka, was taken into custody following a complaint by his neighbour, Mr. Johnson Ikenga, who allegedly reported to the police that the barber had been thr.eatening him.
Officers from the Central Police Station in Umuahia responded to the report and searched Emeka’s room during the arrest. According to reports, the search led to the recovery of a clay pot containing human hair, along with other items described as fetish objects.
When questioned by the police, Emeka admitted that the clay pot belonged to him. However, he could not explain what the items were meant for or where the human hair came from.
He was later taken away by officers from the Central Police Station, Umuahia, while investigations into the case continue.
