Detectives have released an ”image” of a man as investigation into the ra.pe of a 13-year-old girl continues
The girl was ra.ped after being forced into a car by a stranger in Hackney, United Kingdom.
The attacked happened between 4pm and 5pm on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at Banister House on Homerton High Street.
It is alleged the man, who was unknown to the girl, forced her to get into his car on Banister Road West and took her to a block of flats where he ra.ped her.
The girl continues to be supported by specialist officers.Now, three and a half months after the attack, the Met police have released an e-fit image of a man they want to identify in connection with the case.
Detective Superintendent Ralph Coates, who is leading the investigation, said: ‘This is a very serious allegation and understandably it will cause concern in the local community. I want to offer reassurance our investigation continues at pace.
‘We have been carrying out extensive enquiries including CCTV work and speaking at length to the victim who has undergone a horrific ordeal. We continue to support her.

‘We now need the help of the public as part of our urgent enquiries to identify this man.
‘The victim has helped us build an e-fit of the suspect – do you recognise this image? Do you have any information at all? We would urge you to come forward to help our investigation.’
The suspect, who is thought to be in his mid to late 30s, is believed to have left the scene in a white Audi.
