A pregnant woman, her children and her sibling who were a.bducted in Igboho community in Oyo State have regained their freedom, just hours after Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, issued a two-hour ultimatum demanding their release

Igboho had on Saturday given a stern warning to Fulani leaders in the community, insisting that the k! dnappers free the victims within two hours or face consequences.

The activist expressed concern over the increasing wave of k!dnappings and insecurity in Nigeria, especially in the South-West region, warning criminals operating in the area to desist from such activities.

Speaking in Yoruba in a video, Igboho accused some members of the Fulani community of being behind several a.bductions, including the recent k!dnapping of the pregnant woman and her family members.

He also decried the k!lling of a man who reportedly delivered ransom money to the kidnappers.

“The person who brought the ransom, you still k!lled him and spared only one person,” an angry Igboho said, adding that such incidents would no longer be tolerated.

Hours after the ultimatum was issued, videos surfaced online showing residents of the community rejoicing as the victims returned home.

Although the circumstances surrounding their release remain unclear, reports indicate that the k!dnappers eventually released the victims after Igboho’s warning.
