Rema has added his voice to the growing frustration over the rise in terrorist attacks across Nigeria, saying the country cannot move forward if its young people remain unprotected and unsupported.
In a short but pointed message shared on his X page, the singer wrote:
“Until they protect the youths and allow them to grow into their full potential, Nigeria will never be truly great. 💔🇳🇬”
His comment comes as Nigeria grapples with a fresh wave of violence. In the past few days, attacks in Kebbi, Kwara and Niger states have left communities shaken, prompting an increase in nationwide security alerts.
Schools have been targeted, worship centres have come under assault, and residents in several communities remain on edge.
