Rahman Jago has confirmed that Burna Boy has converted to Islam
The claim surfaced after Jago shared a video of Burna Boy on X, in which the Grammy-winning artiste was heard saying “Alhamdulillah.”
The development drew curiosity online, with some asking whether the singer had formally embraced Islam, citing his frequent use of Arabic expressions in his songs and public appearances.
Responding to an inquiry on X, Bashir Ahmad said: “Some people close to him said he converted to Islam, but there has been no official confirmation directly from him yet.”
Rahman Jago later entered the conversation and stated categorically: “He converted. He is now a Muslim.”
