Nollywood star Regina Daniels has expressed deep gratitude to her parents, Rita Daniels and Barrister Jude Ojegwu, after they reunited to help secure the release of her brother, Sammy West, who remains in detention allegedly on the orders of Senator Ned Nwoko
Sharing photos of her parents in a loving mood, the actress celebrated their unity, describing it as a divine moment she had always wished for.

She wrote:
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation? They are currently in Abuja. Bro Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out — or rather, I will march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!
My father is a lawyer — actually one of the biggest back in the day, but Nigeria happened. I’ll tell you more about my father later. And my mother? She’s a powerhouse! They would do anything for their children. I love you, Mom and Dad! This is all I actually ever wanted.”
Regina’s post captured both relief and determination as she praised her parents for standing together despite years of estrangement. Her emotional reflection revealed how much the reunion meant to her, especially as they work side by side in Abuja to free her brother.
The actress also spoke passionately about her readiness to take bold action if the situation persists, emphasizing that she would “create a storm” if necessary to ensure her brother’s freedom.
Rita Daniels and Jude Ojegwu, who had long been separated, are said to be in Abuja following up on Sammy’s case after reports that he was arrested in Lagos and flown to the capital.
For Regina, the moment signifies not just a family coming together in crisis, but the realization of her deepest wish — to see her parents united again and fighting for the same cause.
