Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked a heated debate on social media after dancing to Naira Marley’s song, which was reposted by the musician himself
The move, however, did not sit well with some of her fans and followers, who expressed disappointment and criticism.
The backlash stems from the controversy surrounding Naira Marley’s alleged involvement in the death of fellow musician Mohbad.
Many felt that Regina’s public endorsement of Naira Marley’s music was insensitive and tone-deaf.
Despite the mounting criticism, Regina Daniels has refused to apologize or back down.
Instead, she chose to repost the dance video on her Instagram page, accompanied by a bold and unapologetic caption.
In her response, Regina seemed to dare her critics to judge her, stating that explaining herself was “too much work.” Her words, “To dey explain myself na a lot of work. Abeg judge me,” can be interpreted as a defiant stance, inviting her detractors to criticize her as they see fit.
