Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, a well known cleric in Plateau State, has alleged that he and members of his church have been receiving thr.eats following the recent att.acks in parts of the state
The cleric said he no longer feels safe and expressed deep frustration over the situation, saying the emotional burden of watching his community suffer has become overwhelming.
He said:
“Tinubu, Under the Muslim-Muslim ticket they want to finish us. Please, I’m waiting for my arrest. It will be far better for me to be in police custody, army custody or guard room than to be outside crying every day, mourning, suffering and comforting my people,”
He also alleged that he received a thr.eatening letter warning that one of his church members would be k!lled, similar to what happened to his brother.
“They sent me a letter saying they will k!ll my member the way they k!lled my brother. If anything happens to my member, there will be mass revolution in Plateau State. Our patience does not mean we are cowards. We are in pain,” he said.
His comments come as many communities in Plateau State are still struggling to recover from the recent att.acks, with concerns over insecurity and recurring vi0lence remaining a major issue across the state and in Nigeria as a whole.
