American rapper and record executive Rick Ross is being sued by a disabled man, Darris Straughter, who alleges that his Car & Bike Show was not wheelchair accessible
Straughter claims he was unable to attend the event despite purchasing a ticket and notifying organizers of his needs two weeks in advance.
The plaintiff, who has been disabled since 2018, asserts that organizers promised refunds to those who couldn’t access the event but failed to follow through.
Straughter is seeking damages and a court order requiring future events to provide proper disabled access.
The lawsuit, filed by attorney John Hoover Esq., accuses Ross of breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).
