President Bola Tinubu is holding separate meetings with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang at the Presidential Villa in Abuja
According to observers, Mutfwang arrived at the State House around 3:00 p.m., followed by Makinde at 3:30 p.m.

The discussions come amid ongoing political realignments, as key stakeholders begin strategic consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Makinde, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor, is one of the few in the party who has remained loyal to the opposition, even as several colleagues defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Oyo governor is widely seen as nurturing a presidential ambition and positioning himself for the PDP’s 2027 presidential ticket.
