British dance tutor and ‘Strictly Come Dancing‘ judge Shirley Ballas has reportedly ended her six-year relationship with fiancé Danny Taylor, a British actor.
The couple, who became engaged in 2021, called off their wedding earlier this year.
According to ‘The Sun‘ the couple’s breakup was influenced by the distance between them.
The source described the situation as “very sad,” noting that Shirley, 64, had made considerable efforts to support Danny, 51, and his theatre and pantomime work by traveling frequently.
“Distance also played its part—Shirley lives in London with her mother, while Danny remains based in Liverpool; that commute is a killer,” the insider explained.
Despite the end of their romantic relationship, the source emphasized that Shirley is “strong” and “resilient” and is already looking forward to a successful 2025.
It is believed that the two remain friends, and they continue to follow each other on social media.
