Influencer and wife of music video producer Femi Dapson, Simi Sanya, has responded after a social media user questioned why she did not attend Jarvis and Peller’s wedding.
The user had asked:
“You no go Jarvis wedding?? but she come your own o.”
Reacting to the question on her Instagram Story, Simi said people are often too quick to make assumptions instead of asking what really happened. She also pointed out that the claim wasn’t even accurate.
Replying the user on her page, she wrote:
“Abeg it’s too early for this o lol.
“Why do you guys go around doing this to people? Some of you did it to other influencers when it was my wedding too. It’s actually not nice. It’s okay to ask why I wasn’t there but to make an assumption??
“So loud and wrong. She wasn’t at my wedding but that’s not even why I couldn’t make it. I had my reasons and she is perfectly aware.
“But why did you assume? You clearly don’t have your facts right. I’ll send you 1m if you can provide a video of Iyawo at my wedding lol.
“This is how you guys spread lies and start rumors and create hate among influencers. Do better.”
Simi explained that her absence had nothing to do with whether Jarvis attended her wedding or not.
According to her, she had personal reasons for missing the ceremony, and Jarvis is fully aware of those reasons. She urged people to stop making assumptions without knowing the full story.
