Sophia Egbueje has taken another swipe at Burna Boy, this time questioning his musical relevance in a subtle Instagram Story post
The socialite, who previously accused the Grammy-winning singer of promising her a Lamborghini in exchange for intimacy—only to later renege—appeared to reignite the controversy with a pointed message that read:
“You could keep the Lambo. Just get yourself a good hit song at this point.”
The statement seems to mock Burna Boy’s recent string of releases, implying they’ve failed to make an impact, while also referencing their past fallout.
Their feud began when Egbueje publicly claimed Burna Boy offered her a luxury car but didn’t follow through. Burna Boy later appeared to respond in a freestyle on Instagram, singing, “I no buy Lambo, is that why you’re shouting?”
Egbueje then posted photos of herself with a Lamborghini, stating she bought it herself: “As dem no buy am, I buy am.”
With this latest post, Sophia seems to suggest that material gifts are irrelevant when artistic value is in question—keeping the tension between her and Burna Boy alive on social media.
