Speed Darlington has released a public statement via his lawyer, Stan Alieke, days after he was released from prison. Darlington had spent few days in prison, after he was picked up on Burna Boy’s order

Speed Darlington apologizes to Burna Boy, denies defamation intentAccording to Alieke, Speed Darlington is known for spreading joy, and the said video is meant to be humorous, not defamatory.

The statement also clarified that Speed Darlington never intended to insult Burna Boy’s mother, citing a “slip of the tongue.”

Alieke also mentioned that, Speed Darlington has privately reached out to Burna Boy and his team to offer further clarification and extend an olive branch.
