Singer Spyro says he is concerned about the growing lack of interest in learning practical skills, especially among young people.
According to him, he recently spoke with his mechanic, who complained that fewer people are coming around to learn the trade. Spyro believes this could become a bigger problem in the future if more young people focus mainly on making money online and overlook hands-on skills.
During a conversation, he said:
“I spoke to my mechanic, and they’re complaining that people aren’t coming to learn handwork anymore. 10 years from now, we’ll all have to fix our cars, ACs and do electrical work ourselves because Gen Z would rather make money online than learn handwork.”
For Spyro, learning practical skills could become important as more people choose digital work and online income over traditional trades.
