Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus has returned to Nigeria with her two daughters to pay tribute to her late husband, Jaiye Aboderin
The family visited Jaiye’s gravesite, where they said prayers and reflected on his enduring legacy.
The visit marked exactly 20 years since Jaiye’s tragic passing, which occurred while he was playing basketball with friends.
Stella expressed her gratitude to family, associates, and well-wishers who attended the private ceremony or offered condolences and prayers for Jaiye’s soul.
She captioned the video:
“Exactly 20 years ago today my husband JAIYE ABODERIN passed away. 20 years later with his children grown enough to honor his legacy in the same place, we went back there. It was not easy to get through this but I am grateful to God for strength. Special thanks to my family and friends who joined us and those who couldn’t make it but prayed and called. It is well with us. Jaiye is forever in our hearts. May his soul continue to rest in peace. #20thremembrance
