Nigerian skit-maker and singer Carter Efe set social media ablaze after a viral clip showed him openly dissing Wizkid.
In the video, Carter Efe is seen telling his manager to stop playing a Wizkid song, declaring:
“Remove that song. No be Wizkid carry us reach where we dey, na Davido. You dey mad? You dey play Wizkid?”
The statement quickly divided fans online.
While Davido supporters applauded Carter Efe for giving credit where it’s due, Wizkid fans accused him of being disrespectful.
Carter Efe has long expressed admiration for Davido, often acknowledging the superstar’s influence on his career.
However, this latest clip has thrown him into the middle of the Wizkid vs Davido debate, making Nigerian Twitter explode with reactions, memes, and heated arguments.
