Tanzanian singer Mandojo has passed away due to a case of mistaken identity
He was fatally assaulted after being misidentified as a thief on August 11, 2024.
Fellow musician Soggy Doggy confirmed the news on social media, expressing sadness and reflecting on the brevity of life.
Soggy Doggy offered condolences to Mandojo’s loved ones and remembered him as a brother and friend.
Another colleague, Domo Kaya, also paid tribute to Mandojo, expressing disbelief at the timing of his passing and wishing him eternal peace.
Mandojo’s life was cut short just days before his birthday; he was known for his popular songs “Nikupe” and “Dingi”.
