Nigerian singer Paul ‘Rudeboy’ Okoye has revealed the strict criteria he has established for signing new artists to his record label, Fire Department Inc
Paul, who spoke about the high costs of promoting an artist in a live video, shared the requirements for signing new artists to his label and stated that any artist caught smoking weed would face a N10 million fine.
“Some people just believe say they don big pass record label. So I will tell you my demands now. You go bring landed properties, your parents go sign.
“The day I catch you dey smoke one thing as my artiste, minus N10 million. That is why if you continue asking me when I am going to sign artistes I will tell you I do not know,” he said.
Rudeboy launched Fire Department Inc. in 2019, following the breakup of Psquare with his twin brother Peter Okoye, and though they briefly reunited in November 2021, their reconciliation was short-lived.
