Temi Otedola and her husband, Mr Eazi, shared a lighthearted moment while talking about push gifts during a recent episode of The How Far Podcast.

The conversation started when Mr Eazi wondered what he would be getting once their baby arrives. He asked what his own push gift would be after the birth of their child
Temi, however, didn’t see any reason for that.
She smiled and replied:
“The child is the gift for you, you don’t need a gift.”
Mr Eazi wasn’t convinced and insisted that fathers should not be left out.
“I think I also need a gift,” he said, before questioning why dads shouldn’t receive push gifts as well.
Temi quickly reminded him why the tradition exists. “Then you should campaign for it because you haven’t even pushed anything, you didn’t even do any pushing,” she responded, making it clear that she believes push gifts are meant for mothers, who go through pregnancy and childbirth.
The exchange turned into a playful back-and-forth between the couple, with both sticking to their positions while keeping the conversation relaxed and humorous.
Where do you stand on this? Should new dads receive a gift too, or is having a new baby already the greatest gift? Tell us why?
