Terry G claims robbery over Billboard TOP 50 ommision

Singer, Terry G has expressed strong dissatisfaction with Billboard’s recent Top 50 ‘Best Afrobeats Songs of All-Time’ list, claiming he was “robbed” due to the absence of his hit songs

The list, curated by Billboard staff, featured tracks like 2Face’s ‘African Queen’, Timaya’s ‘Dem Mama’, Weird MC’s ‘Ijoya’, and Olu Maintain’s ‘Yahooze’, but notably excluded Terry G’s popular songs such as ‘Akpako Master’, ‘Free Madness’, and ‘Run Mad’.

Terry G’s reaction followed a post by music monitoring platform Chart Data announcing ‘African Queen’ as the number one song on the list.

His statement, “TERRY G robbed,” suggests a strong belief that his contributions to Afrobeats were overlooked or undervalued.
