Former Big Brother Naija housemate Thelma Lawson has threatened legal action against an X (formerly Twitter) user who allegedly insulted her son and launched a series of personal atta.cks against her online.
The controversy began after an X user, identified as @NELLY5dje, shared a post referring to Lawson’s son as “autistic” while also mocking the reality star over her time on BBNaija and making derogatory remarks about her appearance.
The X user posted a message targeting Lawson and her son, writing:
“That your autistic son is who you were referring to as a fish @thereal_thelmaa. More reason why you were evicted like a thief, flanged out sober like the proper low life you are, with no supporters. God hates dirty! with your extra large ugly looking mouth. #BBNaijaReunion”
Reacting to the post, Lawson made it clear that while she may ignore personal criticism, she would not tolerate attacks involving her child.
“Thank you very much, but unfortunately I draw the line at my son. Anyone who has reasonable information on the owner of this account, please let me know,” she wrote.
The reality star further revealed that she prefers pursuing matters through legal channels rather than engaging in social media disputes.
“Ask around for reviews before BBN, I don’t do online banter, I follow due process… Legal battles only”, she stated.
