President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has left Nigeria for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
He arrived the country on Sunday to attend the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit, scheduled to begin on Monday, November 11, 2024

Hosted by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the summit will center on pressing issues in the Middle East.
In a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, it was revealed that Tinubu will address the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, urging an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution.
He is also expected to support the revival of the two-state solution as a pathway to lasting peace in the region.
The President is accompanied by key officials, including Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Adviser; Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation; and Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed, Director General of the National Intelligence Agency.
