Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says President Bola Tinubu’s achievements in office have rendered the opposition coalition ineffective

Speaking during a project commissioning in Abuja, Wike praised Tinubu’s leadership, claiming that the president’s developmental strides have dismantled efforts by opposition parties to unite against him ahead of the 2027 elections.
“With the kind of work Mr. President is doing, the so-called coalition has already collapsed,” Wike said. “There’s nothing to coalesce again.”
He added that the opposition’s inability to gain traction stems from the administration’s visible impact on infrastructure and governance.
Wike, a former PDP governor who backed Tinubu in the 2023 election, said he has no regrets supporting the president, emphasizing that results speak louder than political affiliations.
