President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday received Anders Holch Povlsen, Denmark’s richest businessman and Chief Executive Officer of Bestseller, at the State House in Abuja
The meeting, announced by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, is part of the administration’s broader push to attract foreign investments and enhance economic collaboration between Nigeria and Denmark.

Povlsen, who also leads the Bestseller Foundation, was accompanied by Denmark’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Jens Hansen, and other senior Danish officials.
Present at the meeting were the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani.

According to Onanuga, “Denmark’s richest man, Mr. Anders Holch Povlsen of BESTSELLER & BESTSELLER FOUNDATION, visited President Bola Tinubu at the State House, Abuja, Tuesday, October 28, 2025.”
The visit underscores the Tinubu administration’s ongoing efforts to deepen global partnerships and attract more foreign direct investment into Nigeria’s economy.
