In his speech at the ceremony in Accra, Tinubu emphasized the importance of collaboration between the nations, stating that Mahama’s leadership marks a new era of prosperity and mutual progress.

Mahama’s victory in the December 8 polls marks the end of the New Patriotic Party’s two terms under outgoing President Nana Akufo-Addo. His main opponent, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, conceded defeat.

The ceremony in Accra was attended by leaders from across Africa and beyond, celebrating a peaceful transition of power in Ghana, a nation praised for its democratic stability.
