President Bola Tinubu and United States State Department Senior Advisor for Africa, Massad Boulos, met on Friday in Paris for high-level talks centered on regional security and strengthening economic cooperation across the African continent

According to the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who shared the update via his official X handle @aonanuga56, the meeting highlights the growing diplomatic engagement between Nigeria and the United States under Tinubu’s leadership.
The U.S. Mission in Nigeria also confirmed the meeting, noting that both leaders “exchanged views on fostering regional stability.”
“State Department Senior Advisor for Africa Massad Boulos met with President Tinubu on Thursday to discuss regional security including working together with partners to build a durable peace in eastern DRC,” the mission stated. “They also discussed expanding opportunities for economic cooperation throughout Africa.”
