Author Toni Tone has revealed that she and her husband have a simple agreement when it comes to deciding how many children they will have.
Her husband wants five children, but Toni says getting to that number will depend on how he treats her and their children along the way.
According to the British-Nigerian author, she has made it clear that being a good husband and father will determine whether they have another child.
Speaking on Toni Told Me podcast, she said:
“My husband wants five kids, and I told him, We’ve made a deal. I’ve said to him look the amount of children you have is going to correspond to your behaviour as a husband and father.”
Toni explained that if her husband does a great job with their first child and continues to treat her well, then they can consider having another.
“So if you have one and you are like father of the year, I’ll give you a second. If you have two and I feel like I am queen of the world based on how you treat me and the kids, you have three.
“I said, I’m going to cap you when your form starts slipping,” she said.
