Tunde Perry backs Peller on civil servant income debate

0

Social media personality Tunde Perry has publicly supported comments earlier made by Peller regarding the living standards of civil servants in comparison to people in other professions.

According to Perry, many government workers do not have the financial capacity to afford luxury experiences such as overseas vacations. He used this argument to highlight what he believes is a widening gap in earnings between civil servants and some self-employed or skilled workers.

Reinforcing Peller’s earlier remarks made during his trip to the Maldives, Perry stated:

“Civil servants cannot go to Maldives to enjoy themselves like Peller did truly, people are just blaming him for saying the truth, even the TV stations that are blaming him too.

Barbers live a better life than civil servants”

Peller had earlier drawn attention after speaking about the cost of his Maldives holiday, suggesting that such travel is beyond what most civil servants can comfortably afford. His comments triggered conversations around income levels and spending power in different job sectors.
