The Lagos Police Command has apprehended Jemilu Abdullahi and Samsondeen Isiaku for allegedly vandalising streetlight cables along Ijegun-Jakande Road in the state
The command spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, made this known in a statement made available to our correspondent on Wednesday.
According to him, the suspects were caught in the act on Tuesday, May 6, during a patrol by officers attached to the Isheri Oshun Division.
He further disclosed that the police are currently investigating the matter.
He wrote, “On the 6th of March, patrol officers of Isheri Oshun Division, Lagos, arrested two suspects, Jemilu Abdullahi and Samsondeen Isiaku, while vandalising streetlight cables at Ijegun/Jakande Road.
“The investigation is ongoing. They will be charged to court accordingly,” the police spokesman added.
